Alloy Plating providers, South West Metal Finishing

South West Metal Finishing, established in 1931, is the largest division of EIC Finishing Services, occupying over 30,000 square feet of production space in a purpose built factory on the Marsh Barton trading estate, close to junction 31 of the M5 at Exeter. Production facilities on site are extensive and range from fully automatic lines for bulk processing to manually operated lines for all specialist finishes or for intricate and complex parts which demand very high standards of finish. The company is approved to ISO 14001 environmental management standard with all processes on site operating to ISO 9001 quality requirements. The company also holds AS9100 and NADCAP accreditation and is approved by most major aerospace manufacturers. Full certification is available if required. Through our fully trained staff we are able to offer an enviable range of processes and testing facilities, which are being constantly updated to meet future requirements and the latest technological advances within our industry. We can also assist on advice for applications and their suitability for use through our highly skilled technical department. The main industrial sectors serviced by South West Metal Finishing include aerospace, automotive, electrical and general engineering.

Our factory at Yeovil now comes under the South West Metal Finishing umbrella and with its recently installed state of the art cadmium facility can offer faster turnaround times on cadmium plating. The Yeovil outlet also continues to offer a range of other surface treatments as before.

Yeovil Division

South West Metal Finishing also operates from a site on Lufton Trading Estate, Yeovil , where the principal processes are Cadmium Plating, Hard Chrome Plating and Zinc Plating. This site is approved to ISO14001 and ISO9001 and is approved by a range of aerospace manufacturers. The yeovil division is well integrated with the functions and policies of the main Exeter site and enables the group to offer better turnaround times on these key processes and also to boost capacity.

Paint Finishing, NADCAP APPROVED

Revill Industrial has over 40 years experience of providing paint finishing services to a wide range of industries including aerospace, defence, marine, electronic, telecoms, computer, and general engineering sectors. The Company are committed to offering customers high quality finishing in paint, powder and stove enamelling onto metal wood and plastic. Revills operates both conveyor operated and manual systems and all processes operate under BS EN 9001 quality management standards.

Revills is based in a versatile and modern complex close to the Exeter Airport with easy links to the M5 and the A303 and as a result can offer a fast, efficient service to a wide network.

Aerospace Approval

Revill Industrial Finishes have now received full NADCAP accreditation as well as approval from Westland Helicopters for Epoxy Priming . This will mean that EIC Finishing Services can meet the requirements of any customers who require additional treatments such as Anodising, Phosphating, or any other electro-plated finish together with painting.

Chippenham Division

South West Metal Finishing Chippenham Division was acquired by EIC Group in May 2008 in order to provide the group with expansion capabilities and newer premises. It occupies over 16,000 square feet of production space in a purpose built factory close to the M4 on the Leafield Industrial Estate, nr Corsham in Wiltshire. The company is approved to ISO 14001 environmental management standard with all processes on site operating to ISO 9001 quality requirements. The company also holds AS9100 and is pleased to announce that it gained its NADCAP accreditation in September 2009 and as a result can now offer services to the Aerospace Industry.
